Kiev Polytechnic Institute hosts ParIS

ParIS project is an Erasmus+ strategic partnership coordinated by the University of Luxembourg and involving three other European universities as partners. National Technical University of Ukraine, Kyiv Polytechnic institute hosted a third consortium meeting of ParIS-partnership in information security, EU strategic partnership programme on 22-23 of October 2015.

Topics covered in the meeting in preparation for next year’s Intensive Study Programme were Joint Masters Degrees (JMD), evaluation of the 2015 Intensive Study Programme that was organized in Luxembourg and staff and student mobility. In addition to University of Luxembourg the participating universities include University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Science, Warsaw University of Technology and the National Technical University of Ukraine–Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as partners.

The aim of the ParIS-partnership is to respond to this challenge and to the increasing demand for specialists in the area of security, reliability and trust in information technology by setting up an International Joint Master’s Programme in Information Security between the participating higher education institutions and by organising an annual 5-day Intensive Study Programme in Information Security with the participation of Master students and teaching staff from all the European partner institutions.

The next Intensive Study Programme (ISP) is to be arranged in Lisbon on 11-15 April 2016.
